Software: Maya – Zbrush – Mental Ray – Photoshop
The idea of this job rooted from the fact that my wife liked an image. So she showed me the picture and wanted me to do it. The next day I felt like I was interested and keen on doing it, although I knew from scratch that it takes a lot of precision to create a real Close face blended with hair.
The most difficult part about this project was the hair, however since I liked the challenge I did it. I used Maya to base the model, and the details were made in ZBrush. Character texture was done in ZBrush and other textures were painted in Photoshop. Lighting and rendering were done in Maya with Mental Ray. Also the hair, shave and haircut plugin and composite layers in Photoshop!
